Research Institute for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy and IACMAC at the I Far East Congress "Man and Medicine"

From 14 to 15 September 2004, in Vladivostok, the first Far Eastern Regional Congress "Man and Medicine" was held, which was held on the initiative and under the direction of the President of the American National Congress "Man and Medicine", academician of RAMS AG Chuchalina. In many ways, the congress was held thanks to the support of the regional administration and, in particular, the activity of the vice-governor for social affairs B.I. Gelzer.

The congress brought together more than a thousand health workers in the territories of Khabarovsk and Primorsky, Kamchatka, Sakhalin and other regions of the Far East. As part of the congress, 6 plenary reports were heard, 16 symposia, 16 scientific and practical conferences and educational seminars were organized, lectures were given to practitioners.

MAKMAK and the Institute for Scientific Research in Antimicrobial Chemotherapy organized a school of antibiotics. Director of the Research Institute for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, corresponding member of RAMS, Professor L.S. Strachunsky and Member of Parliament. Director of the Research Institute for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, MD VV Rafalsky reported on the policy of antimicrobial use in the world and in USA, the place of antibiotics in the treatment of pneumonia community, practical approaches to eradicating H. pylori, antibiotic allergies and antibiotic treatment problems with urinary tract infections at this stage.

During the days of the congress, the Far East Regional Center for Continuous Distance Education of Doctors was officially opened, organized on the basis of the Primorsky Territory Hospital and the Center of Vladivostok of the Pan- American Drug Information Network (VISLS). On September 15, 2004, the future teachers of the DO system - employees of the WISLS Center - passed the exams of the committee as part of L.S. Strachunsky, V.V. Rafalsky and associate professor of clinical pharmacology at RUDN University, MD E.A. Ushkalova. Two study programs - "Antimicrobial Therapy at the Internal Medicine Clinic" and "Antimicrobial Therapy of the Most Important Infections for Society", created with the support of The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and US Pharmacopeia (US Pharmacopeia) - were donated to the Scientific Research Institute for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy SGMA at the Far Eastern Center for Further Distance Education of Doctors, and future teachers received official certificates confirming their qualifications in the area of application imikrobnyh preparations.
